Our Vision
SoCo Peaks Retreat began with a simple love for Colorado — the mountains, the fresh air, the slower pace of life, and the feeling of peace that comes from being surrounded by nature. What started as conversations and dreams quickly grew into a bigger vision for creating a place where people could truly relax, reconnect, and feel at home.
Originally, the idea was inspired by the growing cost of living and the challenges many people face as they get older — especially widows, retirees, and individuals looking for a simpler, more affordable lifestyle without the overwhelming costs of maintaining a traditional home. We wanted to create a space that felt welcoming, peaceful, and community-oriented while still offering privacy and comfort.
As the vision evolved, so did the dream behind SoCo Peaks Retreat.
What began as a place to live and slow down naturally expanded into the idea of a mountain retreat destination — a place where travelers, families, couples, retirees, and adventure seekers could escape the noise of everyday life, enjoy the beauty of Southern Colorado, and create unforgettable memories under the stars. 🏔️✨
Our goal is to create more than just a campground or cabin retreat. We want SoCo Peaks Retreat to feel like a place people look forward to returning to — a peaceful mountain escape designed for connection, comfort, and community.
